Animals are referred to us when a home is needed, sometimes from the animal shelter or a private home. The Little Angels Project then provides spaying/neutering, vaccinations, microchips, and a thorough exam by our dedicated veterinarians. They are then placed in a loving foster home or stay at our adoption center to await someone like you to take them home and love and care for them.
“PERFECT IS BORING!” is our mantra and since we don’t just rescue the cute and perfect animals, but mostly the sick and fearful, we are often the last chance for these dogs to have a healthy, happy life. Many of our animals had health issues requiring medications and surgery. We specialize in rescuing animals that are in need of extensive medical care and treatment.
We can’t do it alone. We need your help! Just in 2018, we saved over 600 animals. They required special, costly care, but they healed and thrived and have both been adopted to welcoming homes!
Your generous donations will allow us to continue our work. No amount is too small. Please help support us in our goal to give a dog a forever home

By having your pet spayed or neutered, you are not only helping your pet to live a longer and healthier life but also saving the lives of other animals.
Spayed or neutered pets lose their desire to roam the neighborhood in search of a mate so are less likely to be injured, lost or get into fights. They are also less likely to bite and have other behavioral problems. Males are less likely to spray or mark territory.
All our dogs are spayed or neutered prior to adoption. We also provide these surgeries for families who can not afford it.
Our cost is $60 for a small dog. So make your contribution today and help us with an animal in need.
We often take in “medical ” dogs from the shelter. These dogs often have something medically wrong that is too much for the shelter to handle. In some of these cases dogs had severe dental disease, or were hit by a car and surrendered to the shelter. Some needed leg amputations, or mammary tumor removal (breast cancer)
Each of these surgeries start at about $250 plus, not including other diagnostics like full blood panels and urinalysis.
It is because of our community that we can take in these special cases and provide them with the best medical care possible!
Microchipping is one of the important elements of pet reunification. While microchips have incredible potential for getting lost pets home, the chip itself is only one component in a complex system involving licensing, microchips, scanners, and registries. Nationally, millions of dogs are lost each year. It is important that your dog has identification at all times. Collars and licenses are essential and required by law. Technology has made it possible for you to give your pet an additional permanent identification. They can also assist where the ownership of an animal is in dispute.
A microchip cost us $20 for the chip and implantation! Each of our dogs comes microchipped. Help us with the cost of micro-chipping one dog today !
